Winning Team on the day was Rod and Reel with 10 points with second, Third and a Fifth ,  second was Lowery Legends  with 13 points and joint Third was Dave and 2 Dogs , and Kellogg’s with 18 points.

With the weather getting colder and with strong winds all week the match weights at Weston dropped.

On Tuesday’s  match it was Ian Hughes (Drennan Northwest) who caught the best weight of the week with 77lb 2oz on peg 14 Stretton, Ian caught carp and F1’s on the feeder with banded pellet, second was Allan Jones (Deggy’s Tackle) with 49lb 4oz on peg 22 Wilfred Owen, third was Jeff Harston (Tricast Weston) with 35lb 3oz.

Wednesday’s over 55’s match fished hard with very bad condition’s, Tony Dean (Rod and Reel) was well out in front with 23lb of carp on the feeder on peg 6 Stretton, second was Mike Ellis from Oswestry with 15lb 12oz, Mike also caught carp on the feeder, third was Mick Foan from Telford with 14lb 15oz.

Fridays over 55’s was won by John Dixon from Oswestry with 10lb 8oz, joint second was Arthur Wood and Dave Harper with 5lb 8oz.

Saturday’s match was won by Steve Wynn from Wrexham with 37lb 14oz on peg 16 Wilfred Owen , Steve caught F1’s and tench fishing pellet at 16 meters, second was Clive Wynn (Tricast Weston) with 22lb 14oz on peg 9 Belvedere and third place went to Neil Jones (Tricast Weston) on peg 25 Belvedere with 21lb 1oz.

Sundays Tricast Weston winter league was won by Neil Faulkner fishing for Rod and Reel silver on peg 19 Canal with a winning weight of 31lb 15oz, Neil fished  at 16 meters all day catching carp and F1’s on pellet, second was Oswestry angler Ian Fellows fishing for Morda Morodas with 30lb 11oz, Ian caught all carp on peg 2 Stretton, third was Ray Cossins fishing for Rod and Reel Gold with an all carp weight of 29lb 4oz.

Winning Team on the day was Murdoch’s with 10 points with two seconds and a sixth, second was Wirral Borough A/C with 12 points and third was Metal Mickey’s with 15 points. Total Angling ended up seventh on the day with 25 points dropping them from second in the league to fifth.

Tuesday 22nd November

First was Ian Hughes (Drennan Northwest) on  peg 16 Wilfred Owen with 59lb 1oz, Ian caught carp on corn at 16 meters.

Second was Andy Amos (Drennan Northwest) on  peg 18 Belvedere with 58lb 13oz, Andy caught carp and F1’s shallow onthe method feeder.

Third was Jeff Harston (Tricast Weston) on peg 14 Stretton with 41lb 13oz, Jeff caught carp on the feeder.

Wednesday 23rd  November Over 55’s

First was Arthur Wood from Oswestry on peg 25 Belvedere with 25lb 6oz , Arthur caught carp and F1’s on pellet at 8 meters.

Second  was Ronnie Griffiths on peg 6 Canal with 21lb 7oz, Ronnie caught carp and F1’s on the method feeder.

Third was Mick Foan from Telford on peg 14 Stretton with 29lb 2oz, Mick caught carp and F1’s close in on pellet.

Friday 25^th November Over 55’s

First was Dave Harper from Oswestry on peg 35 canal with 17lb 6oz, Dave caught carp and F1’s on pellet short.

Second  was Len Hewitt from Wrexham on  peg 17 canal with 18lb 8oz, Len caught carp and crucian carp on pellet at 8 meters.

Third was Mike Ellis from Oswestry on peg 9 with 14lb 10oz, Mike caught carp on the feeder.
